Hosting Policies

The following policies explain how hosting services are provided by TW Technologies.
By purchasing or using our hosting services, you agree to the terms set out on this page.

1. Hosting Terms of Service

1.1 Service Overview

Hosting services are provided by TW Technologies. Services may be delivered using
third-party infrastructure and reseller platforms, including 20i, where appropriate.

1.2 Hosting Service

Hosting is provided for websites only, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Hosting includes
server space and the basic technical provision required to keep a website live online.

1.3 Pricing and Payment

Hosting is charged annually at the agreed rate. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the
standard hosting fee is £60 per year per website. Payment must be made in advance
before hosting begins or renews.

1.4 Renewals

Hosting renews on an annual basis. Clients are responsible for ensuring payment is made
before the renewal date. If payment is not received by the renewal date, hosting services
may be suspended or terminated.

1.5 Suspension for Non-Payment

If an invoice remains unpaid after the due date, we reserve the right to suspend hosting
services until payment is received. Continued non-payment may result in permanent removal
of the website and associated data.

1.6 Cancellations

Clients may cancel hosting by giving notice before the next renewal date. No refund will be
provided for unused time once a hosting term has started, unless required by law.

1.7 Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable hosting service at all times. However, uninterrupted availability,
continuous uptime, or error-free service cannot be guaranteed. From time to time, services
may be unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, third-party provider issues, software
faults, or other technical reasons beyond our control.

1.8 Third-Party Providers

Hosting services may rely on third-party systems, providers, platforms, and infrastructure.
This includes reseller hosting environments and related technical services. We are not
responsible for failures, outages, delays, or losses caused by third-party providers.

1.9 Included Support

Hosting includes reasonable support for hosting-related issues only, such as server access,
website availability, and basic hosting configuration issues.

1.10 Excluded Services

Hosting does not include website edits, content updates, design changes, development work,
plugin troubleshooting, theme fixes, SEO work, email setup, third-party integrations, or
general website maintenance unless agreed separately in writing.

1.11 Backups

Backups may be performed periodically, but backups are not guaranteed and should not be
relied upon as the sole copy of your website. Clients remain responsible for keeping their
own copies of website files, databases, emails, and any other important data.

1.12 Data Loss

We are not responsible for any loss of files, databases, emails, configurations, website
content, or other data, whether caused by server failure, software error, hacking, accidental
deletion, corruption, third-party failure, or any other event.

1.13 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their website content, software, plugins, themes,
scripts, and any uploaded materials are lawful, secure, properly licensed, and suitable for
use on a shared hosting environment.

1.14 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate hosting services immediately where necessary,
including in cases of non-payment, misuse, security risk, abusive behaviour, or breach of
these policies.

1.15 Changes to Services or Policies

We may update, amend, or replace these hosting policies from time to time. The latest version
published on this page will apply from the date of publication.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

Hosting services must not be used for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or irresponsible activity.

2.1 Prohibited Use

Clients must not use hosting services to store, publish, transmit, link to, or promote:

  • Illegal content or activity
  • Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive material
  • Phishing pages, scams, or impersonation activity
  • Malware, viruses, or malicious scripts
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk email
  • Copyright-infringing material
  • Defamatory, abusive, threatening, or hateful content
  • Content that causes harm to systems, networks, or other users

2.2 Server Abuse

Clients must not use hosting services in a way that places unreasonable strain on the server
or negatively affects other users, including excessive resource usage, abusive scripts,
unauthorised automation, or repeated requests that impair service performance.

2.3 Security Issues

If a website is found to be compromised, insecure, infected, or otherwise presents a risk to
the hosting environment, we reserve the right to suspend access, disable files, or take the
site offline without prior notice where necessary to protect the server or other users.

2.4 Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected misuse and to suspend or terminate services
where we believe a breach of this policy has occurred.
