About the project...
Performance Direct was originally taken on to help out a friend in exchange for my car being repaired, which seemed to happen more often than you would expect! From this i ended up rebuilding large sections of the website to accommodate new functionality and make it easier for people to get to the car parts they wanted!
The website was built to make shopping for parts simple, easy and effective. Performance Direct had a lot of parts to offer but never really advertised them on the website, so people we're aware they could buy! Now, they have over 2,000 products on their website along with thousands of variations, all simple to navigate using the menu to chose the correct category and subcategory. Although, this project did come with a lot of learning curves, especially when orders started coming in from around the world and a payment gateway i had never heard of being integrated.
